Volunteer Request for Campaign : Turkey Express 2025

All volunteers should report to 100 E Tupper St for their scheduled shift.
You can only sign up for one Thanksgiving Day volunteer position.
You may sign up for multiple telephone reservationist shifts.

Telephone Reservationist

A telephone reservationist has 2 volunteers per shift and will receive the reservation calls at our 100 E Tupper Street location from our community in need of Thanksgiving meals. You will document the needed name and address information, the number of meals needed, and share a few important details for the meal delivery. We hope that you can join us for this heart-warming volunteer opportunity to speak with the community and be a part of providing Thanksgiving meals for those in need. You may sign up for multiple shifts for this opportunity.

Delivery Team Opportunity

Help deliver meals to 6 households in need this Thanksgiving! Families welcomed! Please be sure that there is a minimum of two people per team. Only 1 person need register per team/family. There are no age restrictions for Delivery Teams. You will receive the following: Map with detailed instructions on meal delivery locations. Please wait at the door to hand the recipient their meal. Please choose your time slot. All drivers will be sent out from Buffalo City Mission 100 E Tupper Buffalo, NY 14203. Times are labeled with appropriate slots. Please be aware that due to the large amount of deliveries, we are not able to accommodate requests for certain towns/areas. However, we do our best to arrange your 5-6 stops as close to each other as possible. Deliveries take about 1 hour to an hour and a half. If you are interested/able to take more than one route, please let the team know upon arrival.

After reviewing the form, consider signing up for our waitlist if your desired time slots or positions are taken.
